Odds trailer for “A Good Weird Story”
We made a trailer for our “play”. “Odds: in a Good Weird Story”. If we can find a few sullen teens who were rejected from the Green Day musical auditions then we may be able to mount an off off off Broadway production but until then we are forced to assume the roles ourselves.
This comment on our youtube channel should have been placed in the trailer. Sorry we missed it. Story of our lives.

Odds rock CBC a few weeks back
O.K. Check this. We rock a Zep cover pre puck drop, Pat inadvertently throws his sticks out into the crowd in a fit of rock ( not captured on film), no one injured, Vancouver wins. See video here:

Northey & Kemmis double bill in Duncan BC
Our dear friend Bob Kemmis is playing a solo acoustic show at the very hip Duncan Garage Showroom on May28th. He is dragging along his pal Craig Northey to play a set of his own. Solo acoustic. Craig is terrified of such things so he needs a good friend to hold his hand. If any of you Odds fans live in Victoria or someplace south on Vancouver Island and want them to do a “house concert” just hit the “contact” button on craignorthey.com and set that in motion. They have a free day on May 27th.
Murray quits Odds. New band called ” Swan”
Rumors that Murray has quit Odds because of band infighting are FALSE! This issue was cleared today when Murray realized that the cleaning product called “Goo Gone” would indeed clean off the ” Sharpie” permanent marker artwork job he was inflicted with while asleep at last Fridays Odds party. He insists he has “always been working on Swan” since joining Odds and he would ” gladly join again” if he ever left the group. But he HAS NOT LEFT ODDS!!!! Hear Swan at Swanrock
Odds will be playing the next Canucks playoff games
Yes. We will be back. I guess our classic riffs are going over and we will be there to pump up the peeps. I think the 1st game for us is Wednesday the 5th…after the team comes home from Chicago.
Odds will be “House Band” on Brent Butt Comedy Special
We thought we’d give you a sneak peak at how good we look in suits. It’s kind of like Reservoir Dogs with funkier riffs…and horns. As you can see we added “the Van Hornes” to beef up the show biz attack. You’ve see the Van Hornes before with Colin James (Terry Townson – trumpet, Steve Hilliam – sax). Steve & Terry have played on lots of things we’ve done in the past. “Jumper” and “Cloud Full of Rocks” from Cheerleader being two. Steve provides the bari sax you hear every week on CTV’s Hiccups and whenever you hear Death play the sax on “Kids in the Hall’s” Death Comes to Town
…that’s Stevo. He’s also on the Strippers Union Local 518 album. Steve has the most tenure in the “Colin James Band” while Terry Townson joined about 5 years ago after moving to Vancouver from Nashville. He’s toured with everyone from Delbert McClinton and Shelby Lynne to Kenny Rogers and Craig Northey.
Odds rock 18,000 at GM Place
Well, we did play Highway To Hell and other hype ‘em up chestnuts for the Canucks fans. A guy named Dave hired Pat to rock the drums at some regular season hockey games. He did that job so well that Dave got the full band in for the playoffs. It is our profession to supply the rock. Life is not tough.

Danny Achen
It is with heavy hearts that we Odds ask you all to raise a glass for Dan Achen. Dan was a good man and solid chum who went to the next realm doing something he loved to do. http://www.chartattack.com/news/80240/ten-reasons-dan-achen-was-cool
